Noel Wien Public Library and North Pole Branch Library are some of the interior’s largest indoor gathering spaces, and in place where the cold dips to -40° (same temperature in fahrenheit and celsius… basically very, very cold!) our libraries are important for our community.  As a result, we have lovely interior spaces, with comfortable chairs, exquisite fine art from Rockwell Kent, Claire Fejes, Ron Senungetuck, and Todd Sherman to name a few, large windows, and many green plants adorning our stacks.

If you have some time, consider coming by. You are welcome to bring a covered drink and take a stroll in our library!  We have local newspapers, local art, local books, everything local to help immerse yourself in all that is Fairbanks and Alaska.  We hope you will make the library part of your visit to Fairbanks!
