The Library Commission consists of nine members that serve three-year terms. They are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Assembly. The role of the Library Commission is to hear public appeals of materials held in the Library collection, advise the Director on Library policies, provide acceptance of artwork and other donations, and represent the public to ensure the Library is reflecting the needs of the community.
The Library Commission meets the third Wednesday of each month, at 4:00 p.m., in the Noel Wien Conference Room.
Curbside pickup via the Bookmobile at Noel Wien Library parking lot will be reinstated for the loaning of physical items, such as books and DVDs, starting on Monday, May 11, 2020.
Please note, the Library buildings will remain closed to patrons until further notice. Items should be returned at the bookdrops and will be quarantined for 5 days before returning to the collection.
Some due dates for items have been extended until June 30, 2020. Please be sure to check your account online or contact Circulation 459-1048 to find out when your items are due.
