[ARCHIVED] FNSB Proclamation for Indigenous Peoples Day

Indigenous Peoples Day 2022

Indigenous Peoples Day 2022

The second Monday in October is Indigenous Peoples Day. It is a time to honor and celebrate the Indigenous people of our community, state, and country.

This proclamation, signed by the three interior Mayors, acknowledges and appreciates the rich culture and history of the Indigenous People.

We encourage you to learn about and reflect upon the history of the Indigenous Peoples of Alaska and the United States.
