North Pole Branch Spring 2019 GWC Club

Registration is now open for the Girls Who Code (pilot) club at North Pole Branch. Please be aware we require a minimum of eight members to start a club at the North Pole Branch Library. If we can maintain 8+ we will continue the club Fall 2019. When you register you will vote on the day and time you want meetings to take place.

The meeting options are:

Tuesday, 6:30-8:30pm
Thursday, 4-6, 4:30-6:30, 5-7, or 5:30-7:30pm

Basic details:

WHO: 6th-12th grade girls (if you are or have a 5th grader interested please register and note the grade)
WHAT: 10 meetings
WHERE: North Pole Branch Library, Multipurpose Room
WHEN: exact day and time tbd. We will start the last week in March and end the last week in May

If we get a minimum of eight registered, everyone will be notified by March 22 of the day and time meetings will take place.

We have 12 Dell laptops and 4 Macbooks, but those who have their own laptops (sorry no mobile devices) are welcome to bring them, which means the club could have more than 16 members.

Facilitator: Christine Osciak, MLIS, Digital Literacy Librarian.

Contact Christine Osciak, 459-1107, christine.osciak@fnsb.us if you have any questions, suggestions or would like to volunteer or be a facilitator.
