Preschool Storytime

Tuesdays @ 10:30 AM and Wednesdays @ 1:30 PM
A fun storytime for 3-5 year olds, held in the Berry Room. No registration is required.
(There will not be Preschool Storytime on Wednesday, March 13th)


Parents & Twos Storytime

Call the Berry Room at 459-1052, or stop by in person, to register for the four-week March series.
Spaces are limited in each session.
Advanced registration IS REQUIRED.

A short rhyme, story and activity time for babies and toddlers from birth to 23 months and a parent or caregiver, in the Berry Room.

Pajama Storytime

Tuesday, March 12th @ 7:00 PM (Spring Break)
An evening storytime for 3-10 year olds in the Berry Room.
PJs, slippers, and your favorite stuffed animal are welcome.   No registration is required.


Movies @ Your Library

Friday, March 15th @ 1:30 PM (Spring Break)
Friday, March 22nd @ 3:30 PM (based on a book by P. L. Travers)
Thursday, March 28th @ 4:00 PM

Movies are shown on the big screen in the Noel Wien Library auditorium.
Popcorn munchies served.
Auditorium doors open 10 minutes before show time.

Teen Movies @ Your Library

Friday, March 15th @ 3:30 PM (Spring Break)

Movies are shown on the big screen in the Noel Wien Library auditorium.
Popcorn munchies served.
For 7th to 12th graders.  Auditorium doors open 10 minutes before show time.

Join us for our monthly hour of toy brick building fun.
We provide the toy bricks, you provide the imagination.
This month our theme is games!
For ages 3 and up.
No registration is required.


Techtastic

Friday, February 22nd @ 4:30 PM, Berry Room
Using library supplied littleBits,
(tiny electronic pieces that snap together with magnets,
allowing you to create your own circuits),
build an alarm system.

For ages 8 and up.
No registration is required.


Celebrate Dr. Seuss

Celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss on Saturday, March 2nd, by reading your favorite Dr. Seuss title – there are books in the picture book section, and in the beginner book section.

Dr. Seuss also wrote under the names Theo. LeSieg and Rosetta Stone.


 

Spring Break

Drop-In Craft:  Spring Birds
Monday, March 11th @ 1:00 to 5:00 PM, Berry Room

Come create your very own colorful paper bird with handprint feathers, and other materials supplied by the public library!  Stop by the Berry Room Story Area any time between 1:00—5:00 PM for this craft.  For ages 3 and up.


Spring Break Storytime

A fun storytime for 3-5 year olds.  Older siblings are welcome to join this special spring break version of storytime.


Spring Break:  Wings of Fire Book Extravaganza

Tuesday, March 12th @ 1:30 PM, Auditorium

Readers of the Wings of Fire book series by Tui Sutherland are invited to take flight with the dragonets as we connect with members of our tribe to rewrite the prophecy and soar through other fun activities.  (One hour program.)


Spring Break:  Fairy Tales Play Day

Wednesday, March 13th, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Berry Room

Think you know your fairy tales, or are too old for fairy tales?   Guess again!  Join us for a host of activities for both preschool and elementary aged children, all related to well-known fairy tales.  Can you engineer a house like the three pigs?  Can you outwit the wolf?  How useful is hair for a ladder?  Use your wits to outsmart some very clever fairy tale characters.
