The NORTH POLE BRANCH LIBRARY is a full-service public library that moved into a new building at 656 NPHS Blvd., located across the street from North Pole High School in October 2014. It is open Tuesday through Saturday. Its shelves hold about 45,000 books and other library material to borrow. New to the library are a Young Adult Room with cyber bar, Automated Materials Return, Self Checkout, public fax machine, three Group Study Rooms that accommodate 4 to 6 people, and separate integrated computer workstations for mobility and for vision impaired users. The building is wireless enabled and has internet workstations for public use, as well as a photocopier and a typewriter. Additional services to be introduced over the next several months are teleconferencing capability, laptops and ipads for patron use, and a Multi-Purpose Room & a Conference Room for community events. The branch has a very active (and very popular) children’s program. View our Schedule of Story Times and other library programs.
