It is geared to people who live more than 25 miles from an FNSB public library, but could also serve those whose schedule makes it difficult get to a FNSB library or Bookmobile stop. This one-year pilot program is funded through June 2009 by a combination of Borough special project funds and grant funds from the Alaska State Library. For more details and eligibility guidelines, call 459-1063 or email firstname.lastname@example.org

The NORTH POLE BRANCH LIBRARY is a full-service public library at the edge of downtown North Pole. It is open Tuesday through Saturday. Its shelves are crammed with about 35,000 books and other library material to borrow. The building is wireless enabled and there are five internet workstations for public use, as well as a photocopier and a typewriter. The branch has a very active (and very popular) children’s program. Click here for library hours and here for a schedule of storytimes and other library programs.
